A Fire & Evacuation Plan is required for all occupied buildings as per the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and must be reviewed annually. A Fire and Evacuation Plan is a legislative requirement of the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1990 - 104E. An Evacuation Diagram must be displayed in common areas and along paths of travel which assist in easily identifying evacuation routes, emergency exits, assembly areas and firefighting equipment. Evacuation Diagrams must be reviewed at intervals not more than 5 years or when a building changes occur within the building as per the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and AS 3745 - 2010 Planning for Emergencies. Diagrams are supplied and installed in all evacuation routes in A3 laminated format in Snap Lock Frames if required. |
